From the Minoan sites of Knossos and Phaistos to the Venetian castle, Crete is submerged in history and legends. It has a rich and colorful socio-cultural atmosphere that will leave you smitten by its grandeur.

If you are planning a vacation in Crete then it is best that you plan it well. If you reach Crete in the peak tourist season for example, you might find accommodation extremely hard to find and even if you do find it, it might be extremely expensive.
