Took a phone call yesterday from the local reporter of 'The Press', one of New Zealand's national newspapers, asking if I'd submit to an interview on my impressions of Takaka and moving to New Zealand.

I am wary of my own status as a 'rich foreigner'

To be honest, I wasn't that keen, but having received enough duff journalistic assignments in my time - hideous to have to go back to the news editor and confess that you couldn't get the interview - I agreed.
