Chile is the long strip of land on the western coast of South America, stretching for over 4,300 kilometres. Due its geographical location Chile has a diverse range of weather conditions with some parts of the country dry and others wet with a more Mediterranean type climate.

The Easter Islands are located just below the southern tip of Chile. These Islands full of charm and character and have an interesting history associated to them. They are perhaps better known through out the world for the mystical examples of their truly awe inspiring monumental structures. The Islands have been occupied for centuries and each generation has left their unique mark on this landscape. Over the previous centuries it has endured some horrific fighting and battles and it can be quite moving standing on the Island and reflecting on its previous history.
